Course Title: Introduction to Quality Risk Management
Objective of this course:
- To demonstrate the application of risk-management over the lifecycle of products and processes to optimize safety and effectiveness.
This course teaches various soft skills required to successfully perform audits.
The course is part of the upcoming course series “Essential Audit Skills – Learn How to Successfully Prepare and Perform Audits” aimed at people moving into audit functions, either as (internal) auditors or prime business contact to auditors, and therefore in need to gain an understanding of audit principles and mechanics.
Content of this course:
The programme covers the following topics:
- Introduction to quality risk management (QRM) processes
- Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
- Failure Mode, Effects (and Criticality) Analysis (FMEA / FMEAC)
- Hazard Operability Analysis (HAZOP)
- Planning and documented a risk management strategy
Delivery dates:
- Q4-2009
- This will consist of 5 pre-recordings, 3 live online sessions, pre-course exercises, exercises between classes and a post-course assignment.
